All people deserve places to feel heard, to learn more about themselves, and to get new tools that help them to feel more connected with others.

Why We’re Here

Simply stated, we love our community and wanted to create a space that's part therapy, part groups, & part community resource for information, connection, & growth.

We don't want to do just one thing or to serve just one population. We want to create something that continues to evolve and grow to meet the needs of our community in unique and different ways.

Our Mission:

To create an inclusive space for personal growth and transformation through client-centered, relational therapy, groups, and community outreach and engagement.

Our Values:

Trained as social workers, we believe that social work and social justice cannot be separated. Understanding that the world is a complicated place with so many environmental and societal factors that contribute to people's experiences informs all that we do.

We believe in being led by the lived experiences of our clients and community partners. We are LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, and committed to growth and learning as lifelong missions.

We work with individuals, families, and relationships of many different configurations, believe that Black lives matter, no human being is illegal, and bodies and brains come in all shapes, sizes, and abilities.

We want to do our best to make our services accessible to all kinds of people. We value cultural humility and invite feedback for our own continued growth. Please let us know when we can do better.

 More about us.

We both love the Oregon coast. Wandering around town, experiencing the quiet of the forest, the spaciousness and possibilities of the water… or just being cozy at home binging shows on Netflix or having a fire in our backyard. We’re parents, dog parents, enthusiastic neighbors, aging queers, and have ties to many other places in the PNW and elsewhere. We work hard at showing up for ourselves, each other, our families, friends, and neighbors.

We both enjoy deep dives into social justice, human nature, communication, what it means to be living in community, how to positively affect systems, and contribute to mutual aid… while also figuring out how to pay our own bills and make a living.

We’ll probably always be evolving and changing what this looks like as we go along and continue to expand what we do, but we intend to always include giving back to our communities as some part of our mission.

We recognize that finding a good therapist fit can be both challenging and expensive. One goal we have is to make resources accessible to more people by offering ongoing workshops, groups, and other opportunities to connect in community spaces, in addition to the private therapy we provide. Stay tuned as we will continue to update you here about different opportunities to connect!

A note about the pandemic and our stance

As public health is a core value of North Coast Connection, we continue to take a firm stance regarding Covid safety. As such, we will continue to prioritize risk-mitigation in order to do our best to protect ALL community members.

For this reason, all therapy appointments are conducted either via telehealth or outside/walking therapy. Groups, workshops, trainings, consults and process facilitation will either be online, outside, or considered on a case-by-case basis. Considerations for any inside gathering will include size of group, ventilation options, vaccination and mask requirements, as well current surges in Covid.

We appreciate your understanding.
